LexiCode used to be an amazing place to work, and I was genuinely proud to be an employee. Since the company was acquired by Exela, and now XPB Global, the workplace culture has changed significantly. What once felt like a company built on trust and respect now feels increasingly driven by micromanagement.
Over time, more and more employee monitoring tools have been introduced. Every keystroke, time spent on individual accounts, and productivity metric seems to be tracked and scrutinized. While I understand the need for accountability, the level of monitoring has created an environment where employees often feel watched instead of trusted.
The most disappointing part is that many loyal, hardworking employees no longer feel valued. Instead of being recognized for our experience and dedication, it can feel like we're simply employee numbers expected to produce more while upper management closely monitors every move.
I still appreciate the opportunities LexiCode has provided over the years, and that's what makes this change so disappointing. It used to be a company I wholeheartedly recommended. Unfortunately, based on the current work environment, I can no longer say the same.
