Pros
The team at Liaison has always been supportive and helpful. I’ve had the opportunity to work with them in multiple positions at two different locations in Austin. In my experience everyone involved from the person manning the phones, up the owner himself, is committed to making your employment beneficial for all parties involved. People may compare Liaison to a traditional staffing agency but the business model is much more than that. I’ve worked with some fellow Liaison employees who were placed in an individual positions, but my experience has been being part of Liaison managed on-site marketing teams at two different corporate clients. The on-site environments were completely different depending on the team and corporation involved, but Liaison was always responsive and quick to ensure we had everything we needed to be successful.
Cons
On-site contractors occasionally get treated differently by corporate “badged” managers but being a contractor gives you an opportunity to see how each corporation’s culture really is. The upside is I’ve made it through a couple rounds of cut backs when some badged employees didn’t.
