Pros

IT is a job during some really tuff times other wise half the office would had been gone by now.

Cons

Upper Management implement the lean proces of handling a claim, but the lost the focus on their employees. It is sad to say that the Employees don't matter, if they left them alone and run their desk the way they wanted to, then the work would get done. Now it is all micro management, people are working at a table not a cubical and they are getting chest pains for having a piece of paper on the desk.

Pros

Work from home, only in office twice a month

Cons

-Extremely high paced -Too many claims. Caseload is way too big. -Super stressful having to deal with customers. A lot of them don’t understand insurance or what their policy covers so you will constantly deal with pissed off uninformed insureds -metrics are unrealistic and unattainable. You need to have a 98% answer rate but at the same time you have a million cases and people calling you constantly so this is impossible to achieve. On top of that you have to actually document and determine liability. -Awful work life balance
