Pros

First job out of college and I'm sor fortunate to have come across liberty mutual. It's an overall great company with tons of great benefits. I feel like the company really has my best interest in mind as an employee and the big focus is doing everything with integrity. I can get behind that! The base salary isn't much, generally 35-36k but you make most money in bonus. You have to grind everyday but the pay is worth it. Through my first 6 months selling I am on track to gross $90,000 my first year and once you are there for 9 months you qualify for a level 9 promotion which increases your base salary and you get more $ for hitting bonus. The management is great and down to earth, my manager never leaves without coming by to each and every person and giving them a fist bump or asking what their weekend plans are. Can't say enough about this great company, there is honestly 6 figure potential if you're willing to put in the work. Lastly if you like to take time off from time to time you can because they give out plenty of FTO and 4 personal holidays on top of regular scheduled holidays to make sure their employees come to work refreshed.

Cons

It's sales so you have to realize that rejection is part of it. You'll have some quote where you're $500 more per month!! But you have to change your filter so to speak and keep grinding out every call. A good salesperson has about a 20% conversion rate so if you can understand that you'll be fine.

Pros

Remote flexibility. Extensive training and licensing period.

Cons

Not a real inbound sales position. You speak with dummies spitting their information to third party websites promising them cheap insurance. Then those people claim “you called me!”
