      Pros

      Liberty Mutual is a great company to launch a career. There is a fair salary compensation, decent health benefits and a fair match on their 401-K for new and younger workers.

      Cons

      Liberty Mutual devalues their long term employees and comes dangerously close to age, sex and disability discrimination. They devalue their long term employees. After you have been with the company for a number of years and begin to qualify for that compensation, Liberty Mutual will restructure their Company in order to hire new and younger workers thus avoiding paying out on any earned compensation.

      Work from home, only in office twice a month

      Cons

      -Extremely high paced -Too many claims. Caseload is way too big. -Super stressful having to deal with customers. A lot of them don’t understand insurance or what their policy covers so you will constantly deal with pissed off uninformed insureds -metrics are unrealistic and unattainable. You need to have a 98% answer rate but at the same time you have a million cases and people calling you constantly so this is impossible to achieve. On top of that you have to actually document and determine liability. -Awful work life balance
