Pros
- Various departments within the university are great. If you find one of those good ones, you'll enjoy your job, provided you can accept the overall culture of micro-management and reactive thinking. - Enjoyed working with folks in my department, and have built some life-long friendships - Challenging job, you will be stretched (a good thing) - Christian environment - Tuition benefit
Cons
- Too may 'yes' men, executive mandates lead to a highly reactive and stressful environment. - Too many young managers. Extremely sharp people, but very little real world experience.
