Pros

Great company to build your business, innovative products and services, excellent facility, upward advancement in personal training department, and opportunity to learn and utilize leadership skills. Awesome company to build skills in industry and eventually start your own small business if you have the start-up itch. 100% commission could be great or terrible depending on your fit in the industry and work ethic. This club is located in a very affluent area of Overland Park, KS - Johnson County, KS. Build relationships with enough members, and you'll meet lots of people with disposable income to invest in PT services.

Cons

Sometimes corporate initiatives are not aligned with customer/client goals. Managerial tasks are very administrative and time consuming at times running reports or looking over excel spreadsheets. To do well, you may need to work 60+ hours to generate revenue. Although it's a top notch health club, the department will periodically hire unmotivated trainers unwilling to learn or improve their skills giving personal trainers an unprofessional image.

Pros

Members are great and free membership is a perk. Coworkers are supportive.

Cons

You will be micromanaged to death, whether you have three weeks of experience or 20 years. Policies are vague. Communication with leadership is poor. You can be a strong, experienced performer and have very few classes, or brand new and get 8 a week. There appears to be no logic or strategy to anything that happens.
