Pros
The best part about working for Lifetime is the free membership that comes with your employment. The actual job itself wasn't too difficult, but it required multitasking and you were always doing something. My manager at the time was pretty chill which was nice and my co-workers were cool too.
Cons
The training for the position only lasted a week I believe, but they just gave out packets to review and read on your own. They did not really go into depth on how to create the smoothies or coffee or prepare the meals. I had trouble navigating the touch screen computer that places all of the orders and many of the customers would get all pissy because I was slow from not being properly trained. Also very repetitive work, but I guess you expect that when you work for a cafe in a fitness center. Had to deal with some very snobby and uptight people who work out there. The job requires you to wear a hat which is kind of annoying and you are always doing the same things, cleaning everything up, and then doing it all over again. Especially stressful when there is a rush of people coming in and you only have 2 people upfront. You have to take care of the register in the front, prepare food and smoothies from the menu and also make sure you go to the back kitchen area to clean everything just to continue making the customers happy. Not a very difficult job, but it gets old after awhile.
