Pros

-Met some of the best people I will ever work with. The team felt like a family. -The mission of Life Time is great, healthy way of life & you get a free signature club membership (highest form of membership). -Lots of projects to work on, not much down time so you keep busy. -New things and ventures are popping up all the time. -Willing to innovate and take some risks digitally. -Flexible schedule for medical appointments!

Cons

-Lack of employee culture at corporate. -Pay is MUCH lower than market average for your role (in my experience). -Leadership doesn't normally listen to employee requests/needs/wants, but has been improving. -Lack of strategic ownership - new leaders come into the company, take over an area and then you are left feeling like you lost that part of your role. -Process, process, process. There isn't a process for anything and when you try to make recommendation to improve the lack of process you are told to "sit on your hands and bite your tongue". -Lack of opportunities for growth at corporate. Basically need to wait for someone to leave or retire before you can move up the chain. -VERY tight deadlines with little to no recognition if you get the work done when they request it to be done. Large projects are handed off Friday afternoons and expected to be live on Mondays - without caring about what else is on your plate or that you have a life outside of work. -Leadership is more focused on keeping revenue/profits up rather than keeping excellent employees. Wont' try to negotiate with you to get you to stay if you put in your two weeks. They can easily replace you and will without second thought. -My opinion is don't work here until the corporate culture, pay raises and promotions are improved. You will be worked to the bone with little to no recognition and will be paid about 20% less than market average. Maybe if new leadership comes in over the next 10 years it will get better, but until then, I would skip applying here.

Pros

Great healthy way of life promoted to employees as part of goals and balance of work with life. Flexible time off with mixture of paid time off.

Cons

Does not recognize federal holidays - not a bank - so use personal celebration days to take time off when requested.

Pros

Members are great and free membership is a perk. Coworkers are supportive.

Cons

You will be micromanaged to death, whether you have three weeks of experience or 20 years. Policies are vague. Communication with leadership is poor. You can be a strong, experienced performer and have very few classes, or brand new and get 8 a week. There appears to be no logic or strategy to anything that happens.
