Pros

You get to help people access Mental Health Care. They utilize office 365.

Cons

LifeStance mainly cares about their profit. Most people in managment do not have any skill or experience in mental health. They care about revenue at the cost of their employees and clients. This is not a place I would recommend working at, unless you are looking for temporary experience in the field, either way, beware.

Pros

Copilot said: Flexible hybrid schedule, autonomy and independence, supportive colleagues, collaborative culture with resource sharing, strong administrative support, modern and cozy office spaces, good work-life balance, and a positive team environment.

Cons

Fee-for-service model creates significant income instability, especially while building a caseload. Despite being paid per session, you are generally expected to remain available during your scheduled hours and need approval to block time, making it difficult to use gaps in your schedule freely. Vacation time, sick time, holidays, and office closures are unpaid. No-show compensation is inconsistent. Sign-on bonus repayment requirements can significantly reduce paychecks if you leave early. Health benefits are costly, with high deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses. The 401(k) match is decent, but the company contribution is paid annually, so employees who leave before the payout may miss out on the match. Overall, the compensation and benefits did not meet expectations, making this a financially risky position if one does not have substantial savings or another source of income.
