Pros

Remote opportunity. Able to set own hours, somewhat. Not micromanaged.

Cons

* Caseload to sustain FT/Benefits is 30 client face facing hours/week. Caseload is NOT SUSTAINABLE without burnout. ESPECIALLY with lack of Paid Time Off. This is not aligned with LSH Mission "to help clinicians lead healthier lives". * There is not Paid Time Off. There are 3 weeks UnPaid Time Off, so income is variable. * Consult groups are unpaid and during 'lunch hour' is not helpful. I went maybe 2x. Felt very isolated. * Training opportunities are not conducive to maintaining required caseload. * LifeStance Better Together/Town Hall having one time/date is not feasible with required caseload. * The change of Long Term Incentive Plan occurred at the start of this calendar year, and employees went without notice for 2 months was not acceptable. * Support from administrative staff has improved, but limited clarity on who is who for my near entire experience with LSH was very frustrating. * Opportunities to promote were named in hiring interviews were never discussed, and even asking about this as I gave notice, there was no opportunities available. *Amount of charting required following Advanced MD EHR transition unrealistic for lack of paid Admin/Charting time. * Onboarding "Sign On Bonus" is actually considered a 'loan' and if you do not work 3 years per employment contract, you will be required to pay back the loan relative to the time you did not fulfill!

Pros

Incredible place to work to build experience, receive supervision while supporting a diverse client population. Extremely flexible hours, opportunity to either work from home or in office with administrative staff. Truly caring, intentional, experienced regional leaders that are open to feedback and value their employees.

Cons

Working in mental health in a publicly held corporation has its conflicts of interest. No paid vacation time for FT employees which is counterintuitive to the work we do as trauma informed providers. No paid training. Profitability and bottom-line results for shareholders should not be reason to think of long term needs and burnout potential of providers.
