There are too many people in senior positions who have "grown up" at LifeStance and have no business being in the positions they are in. Or, they've been brought via people they know and it's now an echo chamber. LifeStance desperately needs more fresh eyes who have seen what "good" looks like at other companies and can bring that here. I see this happening in pockets, but it's stagnant in others.
Everything is leadership via consensus, killing innovation and employee motivation. "We've always done it that way," and "it's easier to just leave it" are worshipped phrases here.
The benefits are expensive. The 401k program is a joke (they payout 18 months late), and clinicians (the revenue-generating part of the company) are second-class citizens. This has also got to be the white-est company I've ever seen.
