Pros
Certain management streams are good at fostering a supportive work environment. You are told that your opinion has merit and that it is an employee owned company. Certain managers adhere to this and do foster a more collaborative environment.
Cons
Certain other management stream within this company cares only for their own incentives and will impose drastic cuts and remove all support or incentive programs for their employees and then tell you that you should just be happy you have a job and that if you aren't happy then don't let the door hit you on the way out. Even if you start out at a Territory with a good, supportive management team like I did they can leave and the entire management structure from Territory Manager and up can change on a dime leaving you to feel you are out in the cold with absolutely zero support even though it is a national brand.
