Pros
None I can think of
Cons
You have to use your own vehicle to transport 50+lbs of equipment to and from the shooting site, even with SUV, the trunk wasn't big enough, so I had to fold down my seats. Couldn't have anyone else in the car or take my dog to the park without having to take out everything, and then put it back before work the next day. Gas compensation is minimal, the wear and tear on the car from loading and unloading, the miles it puts on the car, the oil changes, tires they do not even add up remotely close to the money you're spending to maintain the vehicle for the minimal wage job. None of your photography skills, if you were a photographer, is used. You follow a template, and nothing else. No set lunch schedule, no set parking, sometimes you have to park far from the school and have to carry all your equipment to where the shoot is taking place, and then have to walk all the way back after the shoot.
