Pros
Honestly, the clients/yearbook advisers were amazing to work with. I love the design and creation of the yearbooks. Many of the advisers are still worderful friends.
Cons
Management is old school and can not see that people respond to different ways of communication now. Sometimes a phone call or facetime is better than driving hours to see the adviser. Plans also can change when you are on the road and you have to adapt to news plans. Management expected you to work your plan and if if was not exactly what you planned then you were questioned and integrated on why you changed your plan. The manager never had to make a plan or even put in the school notes when he visited them. There were many times I had no idea where my manager was. We had the once in a lifetime event this past year with the Eclipse, and all of the employees were there except him. After the event I found out he was out on the lake with friends and he never once said we could take that time off and enjoy this once in a lifetime event with our friends or family. He always put himself first before the employees. I really enjoyed my job but when it came down to the end and I wanted to promote and move to a different location, I was accussed of lying and was fired without any reason. I have always been honest and all of my advisers still speak very highly of me. I would not be surprised if many of them will find a different company to partner with. I was here almost three years and never had a raise and I put my heart and soul into this position.
