Pros

The kids are awesome and being a photographer is fun.

Cons

Everything else. My coworkers 95% of the time were rude to me, their own coworkers, the school staff and kids and would rush through pictures. They would openly complain about the students; once in a high school a girl I was with complained about the ethnicity of the school with no knowledge that I am of the same ethnicity and a student over heard. The student called her a racist white girl and the photographer cried and got that girl in trouble when in reality it should have been the opposite. This became a norm amongst photographers who felt uncomfortable with the area or quality of school they would take pictures at. Blaming staff and students for poor performance. I was always put at schools in diverse areas because I actually understood human decency and respect. The kids for the most part were sweet and said thanks or were just nervous.

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
