This is a for-profit college. All the administration cares about is student retention, so you are supposed to pass students through classes even if they show no competency. Many students have extreme behavioral issues that management does little or nothing to address or support staff. The class load given to full-time instructors, plus the extra tasks of calling students who don't show up to class and engaging in extra training make the work load close to 60 hours a week.
