If you like the British Oxygen Company's obsolete cultures, this place is good for you. Good for the old guard mindset whom plays the likes of guild wars, building political campaigns and enclaves. Connections, networking and enclaves of financially supportive buddies are the norm. Depending on department, if you belong to the group of friends, workload will be much less with a likely fat pocket salary. Good budgeting given to drive safety, sales and marketing initiatives. You will be happy in these departments. Depending on sectors serving, business can still be good despite the weak global economy.
Cons
We don't know when the plant will explode? Safety seems to cover only at least the management and public visible places. Just like a can of worms, surely it looks beautiful on the exterior. Let's not elaborate. Technical guidelines are mostly build on a series of complicated and separate systems to follow, there is no unison across globally. Every other person from a country who accended the regional throne tries hard to implement their policies on another country bringing unrest due to differences. Why do this sounds like imperial china? Quarter audits brings in new procedures to comply. Do we have the colleagues to do it? Vaguely yes.. Because linde is the ghost busters, there isn't really any ghost left to... lets not say complete the job. Lets call it perform the job right. Existing resources are losing momentum to the ever expanding business. Problems will be expected in areas with large amounts of data, records, documentation and compliance, which are beginning to left aside by the limited and tired employees. Competent young people arent motivated to stay, reason? There isnt opportunity to grow, except for whose's whose's whom ever related buddies, family and friends grandsons and granddaughters.
