Pros

Fantastic group to work with. Great work/life balance. Very friendly and on-the-ball crew across departments. Forward-thinking technology meeting needs well ahead of the industry curve. Great to work with a knowledgeable and experienced PM team. Translators don't need to purchase CAT tool license as with other technologies on the market. Quickly growing company with solid leadership. Great benefits. Great location.

Cons

Normal challenges that come with quick growth and from doing business across varied time zones.

Pros

Most departments will allow you to work from home if you are sick, or shift your hours around in order to pick up kids from school, etc. Generally, people are really nice. There's every kind of granola bar in the break room, along with other snacks. The growth in the company has a positive outlook. The boss tries to get to know his employees and the higher ups are friendly.

Cons

4 project managers have been let go or quit in the past 2 years. Only one person has stayed on the team for longer than that. It's a high stress job, made more stressful by the supervisor. The company is experiencing a lot of growth and is not always dealing with the "growing pains" very well. There's not great communication between departments, so it's not always defined who is supposed to do what role in on-boarding clients etc. which results in sales setting things up wrong or project managers not knowing that a project was supposed to get started. Teams are overworked as growth outstrips their capacity to perform. There was no mention of bonuses or raises while I was there. At one point, the company stopped paying vendors due to some late funding from investors, which ruined a lot of good relationships with vendors. My supervisor would get mad at me for not doing something his way, but then told me to stop asking questions and figure things out myself. I often felt antagonized, rather than supported. I really liked this job on days that I didn't have to interact with my boss.
