Pros

I have been working for Lionbridge as a transcriber for almost two years. Pay is not the best, but it is decent. They pay on time. Work was easy. There were opportunities to do other transcription projects besides the main one you were hired for.

Cons

They used to have good communication skills and work was fairly consistent for the most part. Then they suddenly put all work on hold back in July with very little explanation. We were asked not to email them back about the reason why, so we pretty much had to sit and wonder what happened. They finally reached out in November with another project, which so far is not nearly as much work as before so not sure if it is even worth working on.

Thank you for taking time to post a review. While we don’t control the number of transcription projects that are available, communicating with the Lionbridge team should be easier than what you experienced. - Lionbridge CEO

Pros

Supportive Leadership: The management team is approachable and genuinely invested in employee success, providing guidance and mentorship to help you reach your full potential. Career Development: There are numerous opportunities for professional growth, including training programs, workshops, and access to industry conferences, ensuring you continually advance your skills. If your current position is not working out for you there may be opportunities to join a different team and expand your skill set. Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling options and remote work opportunities allow for a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. Recognition and Rewards: Employees are regularly acknowledged for their hard work and achievements, both through formal recognition programs and informal appreciation. Even if it is just a call out on a team meeting, it shows your hard work is not going unnoticed.

Cons

Rapid Changes: The company's dynamic nature means frequent shifts in priorities or objectives, which may be challenging for those who prefer stability. Resource Constraints: Occasionally, there might be limited resources which can impact the ability to execute projects efficiently. Communication Gaps: In a large organization, there can be occasional breakdowns in communication between departments, leading to misunderstandings or delays. Onboarding Process: The initial onboarding process might benefit from more structure or support to help new employees acclimate quickly.

Pros

No pros, there is literally nothing I can say about them that is good.

Cons

No team, everyone is individual. No culture.
