Pros

Fed during most shifts. Coworkers were generally likeable.

Cons

Uncaring Management - I worked at a franchised location. The owners of the location were a mother and son. Neither of them were very pleasant or appreciative of the crew members. But the mother was particularly rude and disrespectful to most of the employees. Several people quit because of her during my time there. On one occasion, I contacted my direct supervisor to call out of a shift due to food poisoning. This supervisor evidently passed this information on to the aforementioned co-owner(the mother), as our store was understaffed and so she had to fill in for my shift. This apparently upset her so much that she wrote me up, and demanded a doctors note. I did not learn of this until I returned for my next scheduled shift, (by which I was already better). The writeup removed me from the schedule entirely effective immediately (so I had come to work just to be sent back home) in addition to the demand for a doctor's note. I hadn't gone to a doctor - food poisoning is easily recognized and self treatable. The owner did not seem to care, but also did not ever give me hours again nor inform me whether or not I was terminated, despite many efforts to contact management to look into these concerns. Unfortunately the owners refused to share their contact info with anyone but the managers, thus calling the store was my only hope. However, I was always told by the manager on duty that they were not present and that they did not now If I had been fired, but that they would request the owners contact me. This never happened. It felt that I was being deliberately ignored rather than simply firing me. This wasted about a month of my time that I could've spent seeking a new job. I wish I had simply gone ahead and started looking. I hate having to explain this situation when potential employers want to know why I left my last job. Stressful - Feeling of being stuck either rushing all my work such that quality suffers, or get yelled at for being too slow if you take time to do things correctly. Despite all my work to improve speed and quality, I never was properly shown appreciation for what I did. A simple 'good job' after handling a dinner rush would have made a world of difference.

Pros

Easy job its simple because there is only like 6 major tasks, making pizza, manning the oven, making bread, making dough, cleaning pans and dishes, and cleaning the store. My first job and I was there for 4 years

Cons

My location was unbelievably busy. Felt over worked and underpaid. It took 6 months for them to run my raise through after I would press my manager every day and he would press who ever to get it for me. Ontop of the they got a new system, which is fine, but with how busy it is we need extra people by oven and pizza making line. Just a mess and more stress inducing. Couldn't take it anymore.
