Pros

Stepping-stone job. Opportunity for growth, experience and development of certain qualities that serve as a perfect entry into the work-force.

Cons

As with most franchises, all positive quirks related to work and pay rely solely on the management style of the owners. Most Little Caesars restaurants consist of young employees that are restricted to minimum wage regardless of effort or workload. The approach explained to me by the owners of the franchise I worked at was as follows: "Hire a bunch of 16 year olds, and when they start asking for too much money--fire them." Beware. Also, as a manager, do not expect benefits, overtime, or a work-life balance. As the store manager, I was forced to work a regular weekly amount of 50-70 hours in order to maintain optimal function of the store (season transition), yet I only got paid for 40 hours due to refusal to pay overtime (salary). Having to work 20-50 hours for free every paycheck was very mentally draining, and resulted in a complete loss of any work-life balance. Lastly, the regional supervisors are extremely unprofessional, and if you do not make an attempt to fit into their "clique", you will be treated poorly and discriminated against.

Pros

Easy job its simple because there is only like 6 major tasks, making pizza, manning the oven, making bread, making dough, cleaning pans and dishes, and cleaning the store. My first job and I was there for 4 years

Cons

My location was unbelievably busy. Felt over worked and underpaid. It took 6 months for them to run my raise through after I would press my manager every day and he would press who ever to get it for me. Ontop of the they got a new system, which is fine, but with how busy it is we need extra people by oven and pizza making line. Just a mess and more stress inducing. Couldn't take it anymore.
