• Toxic culture: Leadership often fosters favoritism and politics over merit. Employees who raise concerns are ignored or sidelined. • HR does not advocate for employees: HR is viewed as protecting leadership rather than addressing real workplace issues. Complaints about mistreatment or inequities go unresolved. • Pay disparities: Compensation is inconsistent and inequitable across roles, even when employees perform the same job. Raises and promotions are not transparent. • Workload expectations are unreasonable

Pros

I think leadership puts a lot of thought into strategy, including the new human imperatives. They're having the right discussions and gathering employee insights. The culture is good and getting better from where i sit (but there is a lot of variability on experiences based on location culture) and I haven't met very many 'weak links' - people are smart and they work hard. Most people really, sincerely care about helping patients.

Cons

The size of the company means career pathing will just be limited. You really have to take control of your path and forge it- you can't wait for the organization to bubble up opportunities for you in a way that may be possible at larger organizations.
