LivaNova has tremendous potential, supported by many hardworking and capable employees who genuinely care about advancing innovation and improving lives. However, the current leadership—particularly within R&D—has failed to provide the vision, engagement, and accountability the organization deserves.
The CIO’s leadership presence is minimal, and his team lacks focus on tangible business outcomes. There is a growing perception that energy is being spent on personal branding and external visibility rather than driving meaningful internal progress. Many recent hires appear to come from the same small professional circle, creating an environment that values familiarity over capability.
Employees deserve leaders who are visible, communicative, and committed to results—not disconnected executives surrounded by a narrow inner circle. Until this dynamic changes, LivaNova’s culture, morale, and innovative edge will continue to erode.
