Pros
- Company has few very good project and alot of bad one too. - Depending on your people skill, you might get luck and stuck doing boring things
Cons
- Very corporate environment, lots of red tapes, and not much job satisfaction. - There is 4-6 different union: Engineering union, draftsmen union, technicians union, mfg's union, testers union etc. You have to do your work without stepping on anyone's toe. - Company constantly cutting benefits to report grate profit to stock holder and has very little (virtually none) obligation to employee. Only things company's cares about at the end of the day is: stock holder and it's image/reputation. Employee are just number. - Within last 4 year, there are 5 layout to meet the stock holder's demand. Another is planned for 2016 with estimated 1500 layoff, despite record project and sale in Billion($). - - Salary and raises are average or below average. You get ranked by your manager on bell curve against other peer and that determined your raise. not much effort you put. - - Don't get fool by company's reputation as big defence constractor, so it's must be really good to work here. It's not.
