Pros
In 2007, it was announced that the division I had transferred down to Greenville, SC, for (ISSP) was being relocated out of state. All 135(?) employees were offered either a very generous relocation or staying through to the end package. Our director watched out for us. She had made provisions for: 1. Relocation, bringing the Chamber of Commerce from the destination city in to meet with us and discuss what housing was available, answer any questions we may have had, plus offered a generous relocation package; 2. Trips to the destination city so we could see what the area was like and determine for ourselves if it would be a good fit (all gratis); 3. An excellent bonus for those who decided to stay through to the end; and 4. Invited the local Unemployment Office to meet with those of us who stayed to answer any questions. If that doesn't say "we care" I don't know what does.
Cons
Because they were so encompassing in what they provided for us in the Division's move, except for normal daily job concerns that are bound to come up at times, no matter where you work, I have nothing but admiration for this management team.
