Pros

- Good compensation - Good people - Good communication from the top - Extremely solid COVID-19 response A lot of negative reviews here about how the company "isn't what it used to be" -- this very well may be true, but I think the company is in a pretty good place right now.

Cons

There is a lot of software development "process", but it's no different than any other company I've worked for; turns out, people like being able to plan long-term, multi-million-dollar projects. We did take a three-month pay cut for the sake of the business. Leadership was extremely transparent about it, and they followed through with their promise to get us all back to full compensation. I had a hard time deciding whether to put this in Pros (for transparent communication & responsible decision making) or Cons (for obvious reasons), but ultimately put it in Cons because I took a small pay cut for three months.

Pros

Lower level employees are truly wonderful and are the bread and butter to what keeps this place afloat Unlimited PTO

Cons

TLDR: place is a dumpster fire, highly would not recommend working here at their current name or the name they are merging under Pay is awful Toxic work culture characterized by favoritism, micromanagement, and lack of transparency. Ineffective leadership from the senior "leaders" Atmosphere of fear and distrust instead of collaboration and open communication. Marketing has dictatorial leadership stifling innovation and creativity. High level executive often engages in online bullying of other companies. Total disregard for feedback provided during exit interviews. It's like they exist as a checkmark and not to make any change. Lack of accountability from upper management. Disconnect between upper management and the rest of the organization.
