Pros

I had two good managers who actually helped me grow, but unfortunately one of them was pushed out because he disagreed with things the higher ups were doing.

Cons

Logical Position is basically the Titanic at this point and I suggest you stay far away from this disaster of a company. When I first started working here years ago, things were much better. But as time went on, things became bleaker by the day. For starters, this company’s pay is absolute trash. You could quite literally make more money as a manager in a fast food joint and that is not an exaggeration. They have never and will never pay employees what they are actually worth. Not to mention they also consistently change role expectations and expect you to do more work without any more compensation for it. Their average pay for entry to even senior level positions is laughably far below the industry standard. There was a period of time when I watched two of the most upstanding and talented people in my department get quickly fired for trying to advocate for better pay. Management can and WILL go through your private messages if they feel like you are turning against them in some way. It was horrible to see that happen and I lost so much trust in our leadership after that. This company also does not handle change very well. When internal changes come down the pipeline there is very little notice and almost no transparency or honesty about what is happening and why. Leadership pretends they are “transparent” but that couldn’t be further from the actual reality of the situation. They only give you “need to know” information and leave you with countless questions and a heap of confusion about what the future even looks like at this company. Now on to the major reason this company left such a horrible taste in my mouth. They do NOT value their employees. Leadership can’t seem to figure out why morale is so lacking but they are to blame for it. Employees are overworked, underpaid, and not valued at all. With all the layoffs, this company cannot provide any real sense of security for employees. They over-hire talent then realize they don’t have the budget to pay that many people, then immediately start making cuts. At the very end of my time here, we were notified that because of “how efficient AI is” they would be getting rid of five entire departments and consolidating all of those roles into one singular role of “content specialists.” I’m sorry, but WHAT??? Then they force us all to do weeks of training for this new role on top of our already massive workload and then take days worth of assessments to prove that we deserve to stay at the company. I cannot tell you how much stress this created among employees and how demeaning the whole process was. When I’ve worked somewhere for nearly five years I think it’s a little ridiculous to have to jump through so many hoops to keep my job. Needless to say, I didn’t. I got laid off anyway and they couldn’t give any insight into what factors caused them to make that choice. Just a bogus HR response of oh you didn’t underperform it’s just due to “job elimination.” Like honestly, save it. Because by this point I’m thrilled to get away from this company and go work somewhere that will pay me properly and treat me like I’m a human being. While yes AI is in fact a helpful tool, LP is treating it as a replacement for the majority of their workforce. That seemed to be a major factor in this last round of layoffs whether they want to admit it or not. They also don’t even disclose to their clients that they use AI at the capacity that they do. All I can really say is i’m very disappointed by the way my time ended at this company and I know every single other person who just got laid off feels the same exact way. Do yourself a favor and look for a job somewhere else. This place will not take care of you. Ever since Eric Scriven became CEO this company has turned into a dumpster fire that is quickly getting out of control. (Also just a note: If you see any positive reviews for this company that were posted after 2024, they are likely written by management and not at all honest. They’re starting to freak out by all the horrible reviews they’ve been getting. But news flash, those negative reviews are the TRUTH. Leadership needs to start making positive changes instead of writing fake reviews to try to save their reputation.)

Pros

Great team of people on every level, from the training to the teams we are on when we get started- everyone is so supportive and they really make the workday more fun. The training and the amount of resources available really do lay a foundation for success in this role that's hard to beat.

Cons

It's hard to say that there are really any "cons" because this job is entirely what you make of it.
