LP handled the layoffs by waiting until the employees being laid off had gone to lunch, revoking their access to their email/calendar/client records, and having the VP of their department call to let them know they'd been laid off. As a result, many employees weren't officially laid off until hours after they had been unable to access their work and had already pieced together what was happening to them. -Hardworking employees are generally underpaid and underappreciated.
