      Exciting place to be - Advertising Specialist Logical Position Employee Review

      Pros

      You’ll learn a lot of awesome digital marketing strategies if you talk to the right people. VPs and CEOs are focused on growth and are all great people that seem to care a lot about their employees. If you work hard you will be respected and get opportunities for advancement.

      Cons

      Insurance costs for families are not even feasible. I used to work for a company that was 1/4 of the size and costs for family insurance plans were much more affordable. It’s been an a very exciting place to learn and grow in my career but with massive growth comes some downsides in my opinion. I feel like you loose some of the charm and comradery you get with a smaller team and office.

      I appreciate the feedback and want to thank you for everything you do at LP. We started our insurance program at 50% coverage for individuals on a very good plan (BCBS). As costs went up over the last few years, the amount that we cover has gone up to absorb the increase. We now cover 70% for most employees. The cost for dependents is higher than I want it to be, and as more of our employees are starting families, we are going to look at rebalancing this. With our offices reopening soon (most of them brand new), I think the camaraderie and culture will be through the roof in 2021. I’m very optimistic about where we are heading because of everything I’ve seen this year and because of people like you. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime about this or anything else.

      Pros

      - Positive and diverse culture - All the sales help/assistance that you need - Your long term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day business is business and you'll have to perform) - You will perhaps have a higher starting salary at other companies, but here you wont be first off of the chopping block. You determine for yourself how valuable you want to be for a company, and they will pay you accordingly. - Work & life balance get better the more successful you get in the role

      Cons

      - You'll have to be really honest with yourself on what you need to do to get better - If you want the help I mentioned above, you'll have to be self-initiated - Your long-term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative, because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day, business is business and you'll have to perform)

      Pros

      Great team of people on every level, from the training to the teams we are on when we get started- everyone is so supportive and they really make the workday more fun. The training and the amount of resources available really do lay a foundation for success in this role that's hard to beat.

      Cons

      It's hard to say that there are really any "cons" because this job is entirely what you make of it.
