The pay and salary was not all that I expected. I felt drained after every shift between having to have 50+ calls/ and 2 meetings a day plus ongoing training every day. It felt like I was doing a lot of work but the pay was not compensating for it. I was there almost a year and made not even $20k and I worked my butt off. The job listing had around $35-40k. They need to be more realistic with people and let them know exactly what to expect since a downgrade in pay like that can affect someone's finances.
There are ALOT of trainings. At first you feel like you are truly just winging the job (because you are). If they taught a lot of the education that is needed during your first few weeks prior to getting on the phones I feel would allow people to succeed more within their first few weeks. Training is only technically a week long and they teach a brief summary of the job/role pretty much into that week. If you've never worked in marketing prior, it may be really confusing to you at first as it was to me. LP also has a really high turn over rate.
Although I am thankful for all I learned while at LP< it wasn't the job for me. If you have experience in marketing and enjoy prospecting your own leads all day/making calls and have thick skin, this may be the job for you.
Benefits were decent!
