Pros

Have you seen the new office? There are some smart and talented people at LP, and its early years were a dream to work through. Great as an entry level position into the marketing, PPC world. 75$ gift card as a 4 year gift.

Cons

I miss the old LP, I'm so grateful for my time here with so many amazing professionals, but I cant honestly uphold the LP core values and not post this. My team is the same size as it was 4 years ago, but with 4x(+) the client load. Agency pay. The pay is industry minimum for most if not all back office positions, sales doesn't seem bad if you like hustle culture. Raises barely beat inflation or some years are skipped entirely ( while LP nets record profits ). You can work for for years as an exceeds expectations employee, a new person will get hired on at your same pay inflation adjusted. Its disheartening when a new 1-2 year employee is making nearly the same as their 5 & 6+ year seniors. Management is very focused on the process and planning stage, less on the execution of that process and enabling LP'ers to be effective for the clients. Restricted career mobility. At LP if you want to cross over to an internal position outside of your department you face a pay reset to the pay you stared at with LP, but with your current benefits. I've never seen this anywhere else and have had several great friends leave LP because of it. Being from your superiors college, or being buddy with them will beat out actual work effectiveness and experience on most teams when it comes to organizational opportunities.

Thank you for your feedback, but it is fairly misguided. Record profits is not accurate. Our team is crushing it, but we lost nearly a third of our revenue in early 2020 when a major search engine took away a large commercial contract – Only a couple months before a global pandemic. Owners haven’t taken a distribution since. We’ve reinvested everything back to our employees – Most recently into our healthcare plans, reducing insurance rates across the board for our staff by over 15%. Our trajectory over the past 2 years has never been stronger, and we fully believe that our approach will ensure healthy, long-term growth for both our company and our staff. We are excited to be getting back to pre-pandemic times and we are very close. I appreciate the time you’ve spent at LP, and will look into the ‘pay reset’ point you made.

Pros

- Positive and diverse culture - All the sales help/assistance that you need - Your long term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day business is business and you'll have to perform) - You will perhaps have a higher starting salary at other companies, but here you wont be first off of the chopping block. You determine for yourself how valuable you want to be for a company, and they will pay you accordingly. - Work & life balance get better the more successful you get in the role

Cons

- You'll have to be really honest with yourself on what you need to do to get better - If you want the help I mentioned above, you'll have to be self-initiated - Your long-term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative, because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day, business is business and you'll have to perform)

Pros

Great team of people on every level, from the training to the teams we are on when we get started- everyone is so supportive and they really make the workday more fun. The training and the amount of resources available really do lay a foundation for success in this role that's hard to beat.

Cons

It's hard to say that there are really any "cons" because this job is entirely what you make of it.
