Cons
Ever-increasing workload with no pay increases. Bonus structure caused huge fluctuations in pay ($2k/month swings). Management rarely listened to feedback. If they did, they took forever to implement fix actions. Regardless of what's happening in the real world, Account Managers are held accountable for every single client who parts ways - which negatively affects pay. So when the economy drops and the people who can only afford $1000/month in ad spend need to leave because our $750/month management fee is going to drive them out of business otherwise - that's your fault, and you take a double hit in pay. Your bonus from management fees decrease *and* your churn rate modifier drops for 3 months since that's a rolling calculation. It's demoralizing and causes financial stress & anxiety.
