Pros

Pay is alright. The 401k is very good.

Cons

This company is behind the times in technology. They survive because they don't have competition in the market. Pay and promotions are completely based on seniority and not merit. There is very little positive reinforcement. Supervisors often resort to insults and yelling to motivate employees. They constantly hire unskilled labor and then wonder why projects go over budget and time. Once they're finished with projects, then come the layoffs. They have training, but zero job specific training for you. They won't teach you how to use a screwdriver or a wrench, but they'll inform you how many genders there are. Working hard and working smart do not pay off. If you're good at your job, they'll just keep heaping more work onto you. This may not be a con to everyone, but they have mandatory 50 hour work weeks when they're behind on projects. They're almost always behind on projects. It gets old.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. While we're glad you find the pay and 401k offerings satisfactory, it's clear that there are areas we need to improve. We recognize the importance of staying current with technology and appreciate your feedback regarding our current state. Your concerns about the promotion process, management style, and the effectiveness of our training programs are noted. We understand that these aspects can significantly impact your experience at the company. It's especially concerning to hear about negative management practices and the lack of positive reinforcement. These are issues we take seriously, as they directly affect the workplace culture and employee morale. We also hear your concerns about the workload and the strain of mandatory overtime. Balancing project demands with a healthy work-life balance is crucial, and your feedback will help us reevaluate how we manage workloads. Your input is invaluable as we strive to make necessary improvements. We’re committed to addressing these concerns and working towards creating a more supportive and rewarding environment for all employees. Thank you for helping us identify where we need to do better.

Pros

The finance team was great to work with. I did not fuly approve of top management but since I have left, I've heard it has improved.

Cons

The work could get a bit redundant. Not a defined career path. I ended up leave due to mostly to getting bored and not getting the growth I was looking for.
