Pros

Competitive pay; the brand has a loyal following.

Cons

Disorganized - you aren't sure what to do or who to reach out to for the right answer when a problem arises. The learning curve was quick on this one. Poor communication - I found myself repeating multiple times the answers to questions from corporate partners who all work on the same team. I would answer one of them, and then get the same question from almost all of them. Wasted time and efficiency. No training schedule in place - made it difficult to create buy-in and loyalty with new hires from the start. No CRM department to provide clear, defined outreach strategies. If they would invest in this, they would see an entire shift in each store's business. No follow-up with development or new hires - felt alone in my growth from the start. Found myself reading through policy and procedure during downtime even though I was in my role and being held accountable. Not size inclusive or diverse - there is a "type" that works here (fresh out of college, skinny, young). Not many POC either. Was hoping to see diversity in upper leadership, but disappointed in the company on this. Too obsessed with a strict dress code when there is not enough clothing to wear per quarter (clothing allowance for store teams). This forced employees to purchase until their allowance was reloaded. At the very least, allow your new hires to have more initial allowance to be able to rotate pieces during the week as wearing anything other than LoveShackFancy was strictly prohibited. Lack of experience across the division (unless I was not particularly exposed to those who had more experience). This is also directly correlated to the "type" of hire and lack of diversity.

Pros

The office is so beautiful. It's a great environment where I felt surrounded by smart, hardworking, and kind women. Everyone made me feel very welcome, and I learned so much about the business while I was there. The hours were flexible and they were generous giving an hour for lunch. I felt accommodated and challenged. I loved every part of my experience and would go back anytime.

Cons

I felt there were no cons! The internship was minimum wage, but the hours were flexible and the pay was standard.
