Very deceitful hiring process - Examiner Loyal Source Employee Review

Pros

Helping vets access benefits is rewarding. IT staff was responsive.

Cons

Recruiter presented the position in a way that is not at all in line with the reality when you start to work. Literally every detail was incorrect except for the base salary. Number of evaluations per day to make base salary, time allowed to submit them and number of hours on schedule were all way off. Examiner position is basically a 60 hour per week job with base salary more appropriate for a 30 hour per week job. There are supposed to be operation managers but they are not seen. There are supposed to be examiner trainers to help new hires but they are too busy interviewing more new hires to replace the ones leaving due to their feeling tricked in the hiring process There was a lot of talk about employees forming a union, nonprofessional staff are treated just as badly. I hope they do form a union. Maybe wait until it is unionized to apply. Their canned responses to comments on here are laughable as they keep doing the same things.

Having been with Loyal Source for nearly 11 years, I can confidently say this company provides real opportunity for growth and long-term career development. I started as a government healthcare recruiter and was able to evolve into sales, account management, and now manage a sales team. There’s a clear path for anyone willing to put in the work and take ownership of their career. Loyal Source has also played a major role in my personal growth. The company does a great job of recognizing and rewarding performance. There’s a bit of a learning curve early on as you get familiar with the company’s strategic approach and different business lines. With time and consistency, it all starts to click and sets you up well for long-term success.

Pros

They have remote and hybrid jobs. Most of the employees are very competent and supportive of each other.

Cons

This is a terrible company. They treat psychologists like children and consider us a disposable commodity.. the turnover in psychologists is about 40% over a 6 month period. The "incentive system" is a joke. The initial training is terrible. Mgt. changes rules and procedures almost weekly. They refuse to provide a phone number for HR. Management style is authoritarian "Mt way or the highway". They discourage any complaints. They discourage us from talking to each other outside of the company channels where they can monitor what is said. Many of us do not trust what mgt says because their actions don't match their words and they are punitive toward any criticism. They hand down edicts without any awareness of the effects on those that actually do the work. PTO and leave policies are very restrictive. Many of us have to work way more than 40 hours/ week just to keep up. The base pay is terrible and there is pressure to do more without more money. The ads and recruiters lie about the pay and benefits and I dont know if that is intentional or not. You can only contact HR by email and it takes days to get a response. Managers term is "I'll look into that and get back to you" but they never do so. Get the picture? Don't belie fee what they tell you and don't work here. Oh and BTW, the positive reviews here are most likely written by corporate staff to counteract honest reviews like this.
