Pros
Global locations provide tremendous travel opportunities on the company's expense. Essentially no competition of value so business is relatively stagnant but safe. Strong professional development and training thanks to a robust customer training program leveraged for employees. Company cafeteria is great. Decent people and strong internal communication.
Cons
Highly political environment. Not a lot of doers. The high flyers are never around in a position long enough to be of any value. Lots of talkers. Pontificators U. Meetings, meetings, meetings. Mostly leveraging technology from the 60s in all of their chemistry today. No real exciting game breaking chemistry in the pipeline. New leadership is same old same myopic thinkers. Out of box thinkers are run out of the company or branded as misfits.
