Those great people's talents are wasted. The problem is at the top. Every startup pivots, but not usually every year. If you're in sales..what are you selling? Oh, wait that got canceled or mysteriously disappeared from the website. Oh it costs 10x the competition with 1/2 the function -- sure no problem we got this somehow...oh but no resources to explain what it does? That dog just won't hunt! This is a company with multiple failed product launches in a row, a failed acquisition, dropping in analyst reports, a massive C-Suite for a company its size. At this point, I think the HR team might be twice the size of the sales engineering team and why?? I'll leave piling on the Chief People Officer to the other reviews, but I concur. From an employee standpoint, there are yearly layoffs and they aren't necessarily targeted in a way you'll understand -- half the time you don't even know they happened until later.
