The company always had a turn and burn problem. The organization operates with a start-up vibe of overloading individuals with work and underpaying them. Some departments had what seemed unlimited budgets for increases while others barely could give 3% increases to top performers annually. The upper management paints a picture of caring about their employees, but actions speak louder than words.
During the pandemic, employees were encouraged to sign up for text notifications for company updates. Updates were never provided. The organization had a great opportunity to stand up and show they cared about the well-being and livelihood of their employees and never took it. It was quite disappointing.
