      Being a luxofter for a year and a half - Senior Software Development Engineer Luxoft Employee Review

      Pros

      Good compensation package, low level of disturbance from main project (line manager is not hanging around stealing your time). Luxoft provide access to some learning meterials and have remarkable traning center.

      Cons

      Although there are offices around the world, I'm in Kyiv and the office location is not the best. Also it's open space and therefore it's noisy. Some people from other projects just do not know how to behave in the open space and there is no means of affecting them. Coffee in office is not the best. Harware and furniture is ok'ish but could be much better.

      Pros

      - Nice and respectful culture - The company trusts its employees, no need for a lot bureaucracy when taking days off or sick leave - If you are good, they are going to do anything in their power to keep you

      Cons

      - Parent DXC company is very strict and outdated, Luxoft systems are very good, but sometimes we need to use DXC systems that are mostly sharepoint and awfully designed Service Now. - After DXC took control, everything is Windows, you are lucky if you get a Mac system, and they hate Linux. You need to sell your soul and get many management and client approvals and exceptions in IT to be able to use Linux. - If is a huge company that serves many clients, so obviously, you are going to have totally different experiences depending on the client you work for
