Pros

First of all and the most important, people from Luxoft are very friendly, from developers to managers. Quite decent extra benefits, like private medical subscriptions, meal tickets and discounts for different services. Company headquarters is placed near a metro station, so fast commute times. Possibility for hybrid work, full on-site and full remote for people that don't leave in Bucharest, so there is a lot of flexibility.

Cons

Unfortunately, depending on the project you are assigned to, you probably won't work "shoulder to shoulder" with Luxoft colleagues, but with people from the client company (for which you are practically working for).

Pros

- Nice and respectful culture - The company trusts its employees, no need for a lot bureaucracy when taking days off or sick leave - If you are good, they are going to do anything in their power to keep you

Cons

- Parent DXC company is very strict and outdated, Luxoft systems are very good, but sometimes we need to use DXC systems that are mostly sharepoint and awfully designed Service Now. - After DXC took control, everything is Windows, you are lucky if you get a Mac system, and they hate Linux. You need to sell your soul and get many management and client approvals and exceptions in IT to be able to use Linux. - If is a huge company that serves many clients, so obviously, you are going to have totally different experiences depending on the client you work for
