Pros
It is an interesting experiment to experience. If you don't have an engineering degree, but want "engineer" as a title, this is the company to work for. They have started using 2 year vocational grads as plant engineers simply because they can't fill the roles with 4 year engineers. There is also plenty of work since only about 50% of the positions are filled. It is also a very diverse work force. There are engineers from places like Mumbai, Trinidad, Thailand, etc. that management has recruited to come over on work visas. Guessing the mystery bonus has gotten to be an interesting game as well. The phrase "at managements descretion" is used often.
Cons
The HR people come-and-go so quickly it is difficult to remember their names. You may have as much higher education study as your doctor but don't expect to be treated that way. You receive ethical training annually, performance reviews quarterly, and monthly reports better include how much money your saving. Remember your bonus is "at managements descretion".
