Pros

The area was nice. A lot of the customers were nice as well. Pay was ok.

Cons

Higher management was bullies. Wasn't a huge fan of one particular man that likes to bully and belittle others. When I worked for this company they never advertised which was ridiculous and employees in branches would get yelled and blamed for "new business"not coming in. After the People's bank takeover they finally got the bright idea to advertise. They make their employees stay late one night a week out of the month to call and harass existing customers to come in for an appointment. Getting screamed at by customers for phone calls and making them feel scared/concerned that something is wrong with their accounts and "why is my bank calling me" was frustrating. Management all the way up wouldn't listen to this and they didn't have the common sense to figure out that people don't want to be harassed via phone especially by their bank. Anywho some of the branch managers are lovely but outside of that I didn't particularly love this job.

Pros

The team members were generally supportive, and the role offered exposure to probate and estate administration. It can be a starting point for gaining experience in a specialized area of banking.

Cons

Many of the advertised benefits of the role did not align with the day-to-day reality. Opportunities for growth, training, and process improvement were limited, and the workload often felt driven by volume rather than quality. Communication and expectations could be inconsistent, making it difficult to feel supported or set up for long-term success.
