Pros
-Benefits (Healthcare - medical covered; 401K match at ~7% I believe) -Ample PTO (but good luck getting it approved)
Cons
-Low pay compared to similar positions in the medical center. It is a well-known fact that employees have quit MDACC and go to another hospital system just to then return to MD Anderson after a year or or two to have a fair market salary –– which is ridiculous for retention incentives. -Poor management and HIGH turnover on P7 - despite it being a very high-performing unit institutionally. You would think then that the higher-up department would look into why turnover is so high, but they don't ask and nothing is being done. 1 year new grads are training for charge nurse because staffing is so bad.
