Pros

The job is remote, and it allows flexibility in schedule within reason. The work itself is good and can be challenging at times. I enjoy the technical aspects of the job.

Cons

The management in the ROC department where coders are under is going through changes and affecting the subordinates below. Many people that are in leadership that shouldn't be, Petty grudges are held against each other, favoritism, egos, giving anyone promotions, you name it. Promises are not kept. Many of the coding trainers are consistent and will tell coders different things. Discourages collaborative work (which many people do and lo and behold, find out that they've been coding so many things different). Many trainers will lie, say different things to different people, and it's mentally exhausting.
