Pros

Cheap pizza, lots of independence, paying $5,000 for people to leave, cool brand, cool people, free stickers, free t-shirts, free soda in support center

Cons

MOD has had a lot of aspirations, but none of them have materialized. They have extremely low and unequal pay. Support center is comprised of overpaid execs, too many directors/managers, and a handful of people actually doing the work. Infrastructure and investment in necessary tools to support the business and growth are lacking by a long shot. Overall, an extremely disappointing company that could have been great. Long hours, crappy benefits, incompetent people.

Pros

Fun place to work, fast paced environment, often pleasant coworkers, flexible schedule, decent tips, great location.

Cons

Original family that started the chain had to sell (2004). The corporation that bought it seems to be trying to run it into the ground. Took away benefits and perks from employees, swapped out higher quality products for cheap, low quality products, and to cut their own costs down, won't allow enough team members to work a shift, leaving us short handed and overworked. Customers paid the price by having excessive wait times for their food and frequently walked out. It was embarrassing! Our store didn't have a manager for a full year, which only added fuel to the fire. What started out as one of my favorite jobs of all time turned into nothing less than a nightmare.
