Pros
Working here has been incredibly rewarding, both professionally and personally. As a Recruiter, I’ve had the opportunity to help people secure new positions and advance their careers, while connecting with amazing candidates from across the country. Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience and confidence recruiting within a highly specialized industry. I’ve also developed strong problem solving and communication skills by navigating challenging hiring needs and difficult conversations throughout the recruiting process.
The coworkers I collaborate with are truly fantastic. Everyone is supportive, willing to help, and goes above and beyond to ensure others have the tools and guidance needed to succeed. My direct manager and leadership team have also provided me with opportunities to grow and succeed in ways I never expected, which has made a significant impact on my professional development.
The company is consistently looking for ways to improve and enhance employee training, engagement, and overall support. Leadership recognizes talent and encourages career growth by providing opportunities for employees to advance within their roles and professional careers.
Cons
As with many staffing and recruiting roles, timelines and hiring decisions are often dependent on client needs and federal funding approvals. This can occasionally lead to delays in candidate feedback, making transparency and consistent communication throughout the recruiting process especially important. We always encourage candidates to stay in contact for updates and status changes.
Like any role, there can be occasional frustrations and challenges. However, learning how to adapt, communicate effectively when support is needed, and lean on colleagues for assistance has been key to overcoming those challenges and maintaining a positive work environment.
