Pros

The organization amongst the project managers was a plus

Cons

They will bait-&-switch you in terms of pay and promises of supplements for using your own hardware, broadband, cell phone, etc. Later when youre employed and getting a check, you're wondering what happened?!? Pay close attention to your employment contract - this is the best advice I can give. Make sure all details they talk about are spelled out clearly. Also, know that they are monitoring closely your personal computer you're using for work (including if you are looking at your personal email), and attempting to harass and scare away other prospective employers that you are considering or interviewing with, with threats of litigation. Save yourself the hassle and don't even bother.

Pros

Excellent group of people to work with, extremely supportive and positive. Fortunate to have a manager that goes above and beyond to be present and reach out constantly to the team for feedback and checking in on us to be sure we have what support we need. Leadership at the company is very much a part of the team, also very present. Transparency and honesty are encouraged all around within the teams and to our clients and candidates. I also really appreciate the constant work that goes into streamlining processes and building support all around, as well as the encouragement for professional and personal growth. Highly recommend Mountain as a great company to be a part of.

Cons

Not within Mountain's control, but funding delays or budget/project need changes can present difficulties for our recruiting team and candidates. We all do the best we can to support each other and navigate these challenges.

Pros

Working here has been incredibly rewarding, both professionally and personally. As a Recruiter, I’ve had the opportunity to help people secure new positions and advance their careers, while connecting with amazing candidates from across the country. Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience and confidence recruiting within a highly specialized industry. I’ve also developed strong problem solving and communication skills by navigating challenging hiring needs and difficult conversations throughout the recruiting process. The coworkers I collaborate with are truly fantastic. Everyone is supportive, willing to help, and goes above and beyond to ensure others have the tools and guidance needed to succeed. My direct manager and leadership team have also provided me with opportunities to grow and succeed in ways I never expected, which has made a significant impact on my professional development. The company is consistently looking for ways to improve and enhance employee training, engagement, and overall support. Leadership recognizes talent and encourages career growth by providing opportunities for employees to advance within their roles and professional careers.

Cons

As with many staffing and recruiting roles, timelines and hiring decisions are often dependent on client needs and federal funding approvals. This can occasionally lead to delays in candidate feedback, making transparency and consistent communication throughout the recruiting process especially important. We always encourage candidates to stay in contact for updates and status changes. Like any role, there can be occasional frustrations and challenges. However, learning how to adapt, communicate effectively when support is needed, and lean on colleagues for assistance has been key to overcoming those challenges and maintaining a positive work environment.
