Obscenely over worked, hilariously under paid. From day 1 you are given no guidance and when you ask for help it is treated as a huge inconvenience, to the point where you'll feel dumb for asking questions. Incredibly fabricated senses of urgency for items that do not matter. You're asked to multi-task daily and make no errors at all or else you're crucified for it. Upper management doesn't provide any type of assistance, they just sit on conference calls all day discussing who knows what. Everything is treated as something that has to be done immediately or else the world will end. The budget for efficient running programs to complete simple and daily tasks has been cut so severely that you're forced to used broken stuff. If you work in the US you are also responsible for training teams across the world, and the language barrier makes the training a waste of time. And the coup de grace, new employees who are less knowledgeable and efficient will absolutely make more than seasoned employees, and management will dangle the carrot and say anything to make you stay. I could keep going but I don't want to write an entire book, just avoid the sanctions LOB at all cost.
