Pros

Plenty of parking. Chance to learn the health insurance industry.

Cons

Low pay considering the amount of work. Extreme micromanagement in customer care. Only one manager out of 3 is willing to work. The 2 supervisors are too busy trying to climb the corporate ladder. The director doesn't seem to care about the workers at all. The health insurance coverage is subpar (considering MVP is a health insurance company)

Pros

The people are very friendly and care about the mission to support and serve communities. Additionally the benefits are fantastic and a major contributor to retention.

Cons

RTO has certainly impacted company moral in addition to the multiple rounds of layoffs that have left the survivors with guilt and more hats to stack. Employees are stretched thin with no authority, but bear all the responsibility and risk. What worries me most is the lack of direction from leadership. There are major flaws in the business strategy, one glaring issue that stands out, there are no stable processes. I have repeatedly seen processes shake up every six months, teams be laid off, and then new inside perspective brought in. Without this focus, staff has lost vision in the work and change fatigue sets in.
